La sedia in una sala da pranzo può essere paragonata come il fiore all’occhiello su un vestito; diventa testimonianza del suo gusto e del suo potere. La sua forma, il suo colore e il collocarsi nel contesto della casa testimoniano la scelta estetica. Il suo essere comoda e fruibile ne fanno un elemento utile e di prestigio. Figure femminili ed elementi della natura come le foglie sono qui punti di riferimento. Le barrique dismesse mi offrono l’opportunità per riciclare legno nobile e ottenere forme uniche.

In a dining room a chair is the jewel of the crown. It’s shape, it’s colour and the role it has in the house reveal the comprehensive esthetic choice. It is useful and prestigious, by being comfortable and accessible. My inspiration comes from female images as well as from nature. I use the old barriques so that I can recycle noble wood and at the same time exploit original shapes.
